one month down.and 41 more days....

Lance has been gone one whole month now. only 41 more days till I get to see him graduate!! I am so happy for him. I did get to talk to him on monday he called me!! I was so happy I just about cryed.It was so nice to hear his voice. I do get letters from him which are nice but nothing beats hearing him say I love you. I am just blessed so have a husband like him! I do get to see pictures of what he is doing, Mrs. G. made a facebook page and keeps us updated on how the soliders are doing at basic and what they are doing that week. I am so greatful for it!
Other then Lance being gone things here are well, pretty okay. Carson is starting to get better about Lance being away, still misses him a lot and asks for daddy but is doing better.I printed a pictures off for him to have with him and he keeps it by his pillow at night and gives it kisses saying daddy miss you.or love you. It makes me smile.Travis loves seeing Lances I show him pictures of him and say its daddy and he just gets a big smile and laughs. I love it!!!
Me I am doing better, it is still hard to sleep at night without him there.But I hope that soon I can get use to it and sleep. I write to him every other day. but anyways this is about it. well, till I post again have a great day!

A Soldier

There is discipline in a soldier you can see it when he walks, There is honor in a soldier you hear it when he talks. There is courage in a soldier you can see it in his eyes, ... There is loyalty in a soldier that he will not compromise. There is something in a soldier that makes him stand apart, There is strength in a soldier that beats from his heart. A soldier isn't a title any man ...can be hired to do, A soldier is the soul of that man buried deep inside of you. A soldier's job isn't finished after an 8-hour day or a 40-hour week, A soldier is always a soldier even while he sleeps. A soldier serves his country first and his life is left behind, A soldier has to sacrifice what comes first in a civilian's mind. If you are civilian -I am saying this to you... Next time you see a soldier remember what they do. A soldier is the reason our land is 'Home of the free', A soldier is the one that is brave protecting you and me. If you are a soldier -I am saying this to you... Thank god for every soldier Thank god for what you do.

So, Lance has been gone 6 days now. I have gotten to talk to him which is nice but I know after Wensday I will not get to talk to him everynight, right now he is as a pre boot camp. and they are learning what to do when they get to basic so they will not get to trouble as much and know their drills and such.He says he is ready to just get basic started and done. He also told me they shaved his head. lol but he is doing well and things are going fine.
I am doing better, it is hard having him gone. I miss him and so does Carson and Travis, but we know it will be great after he is done and better for us.I find it hard to sleep at night but I am getting better. the first night he was gone was the worst, before he left he did get me a really big moose I put lances shirt on it and snuggle with that. I will just be happy when he comes home.
Carson is growing so much, he is now starting to speek full sentences! I am so happy.potty traning is going well too. I am taking it at his pace and will not rush it.He also loves to help a lot with things. sometimes he is a little to helpful... :)
Travis is doing well too, he is starting to sit up on his own a lot better. He loves his brother. everytime he sees carson he gets this big smile and laughs! I love it!!!

Lance left 2 days ago, this morning he got on his flight to go to GA for his basic traning. I am so proud of him!!! I do miss him but I know that in the long run that this will be great for our family.
Carson is having kind of a hard time with Lance not being here but is getting use to it just being me. The first night Lance was gone he had a really hard time, I did too. I was okay untill bed time for Carson and he was walking around the house saying,"daddy!" I just didn't know what to do. I tryed to tell him that dad is not here and that he will not be here for a while but he just started to cry and all I could do was tell him it was okay and that I love him. Lance got him a book that he recorded his voice reading it and Carson loves it!
Travis is doing well. His surgey went great and he is recovering nicely. he is still a little young to know that dad is gone but I am counting that as a blessing right now. He is now 5 months old and weighs 16lbs!! I know 16 lbs!!! but he is also 25 inch long so he does not look really chunky.
And as for me....I am good.I am trying to keep myself busy and with two boys I don't think that will be to hard. lol well, I am done for now.

life.

Things are going pretty good. Lance has lost weight and is looking better everyday. He leaves in about 24 more days.We are both ready for this to get going.
 Carson is still himself, he has his 2 year checkup a few days ago and he is 23lbs with out his shoes on and 26 with his shoes on, so we just keep the shoes on. lol but yep he is growing and doing good.I do have to say I am not liking the Taribble  twos so much....:( but it will be with it in the end.
Travis gets his last surgery on the 6th of March we are glad it will all be done. He now weighs about 14lbs and is 26in long!! he is a big boy. but I think that it is a good thing. I love that he is such a happy little guy. even when he had the  ear infections he was still pretty happy.
Lance got in a car accident yesterday. He was rear ended on the freeway. He is fine but our car....it is another story. our car still runs but it is looking like it is just done.It has been a good car for us the past 3 years.I am just glad Lance is okay and that we have insurance.
Valentines days was GREAT!!! Lance and I went to the temple, I was so glad we got to go!!! after that he surprised me with chocolate and some sparkling cider. it was GREAT!! I think I have the best husband ever!! he is just the best!! well, this is all I have for now. I will keep posting I have not been to good at that this past month.

The Birthday Boy/ Holidays

Yesterday was Carson's Birthday! he is 2 years old now. I am so blessed to have him in my life, he is such a sweetheart. I also love that he is talking and learning everyday. Some of the things he is learning not liking to much like, picking his nose and tantrums.But even then I know he will grow out of it. We didn't do to much for his birthday because Travis that morning started showing sings of Pink eye. not fun so we had to cancel what he did have planned and take Travis to the doctor and make sure that Carson does not get it too. But he did get presents. From mom and dad:a keyboard and a Birthday Boy shirt that I made for him Grandma and Grandpa Frost: Cars that make noise Grandma and Grandma Williams: a new outfit and ball Great Grandma Linn: a really cute card. We plan on having his cake tonight because Lance was not home last night so we waited. Next week we are going to take him to Jump on it for a late birthday party.
Christmas was great!! we opened presents though out the day.Lance got me a necklace that is really pretty and a jeweler box and a rob. We being Carson Travis and myself got Lance slippers. and we got Carson a Leap frog Alphabet magnates.
We got to talk and see Lance's twin brother on Christmas He was so happy to see his nephew Travis and could not believe how big Carson has gotten. and We got to talk to my little brother Jared, He was also happy to see his nephews. And My grandma Linn skyped! I was happy to see her and my Great Grandma. we did a group skyp with My sisters and too. It was just a great day!
I am excited for this new year to come there are going to be so many changes that happen this year. Lance leaves in 69 days for basic and Travis will have his last sugery we hope in 2 months or so. I am hoping that Carson will be potty trained in 5 months, he is doing a good job at it now but I am ready for not having to change his and Travis's diapers. :) but yeah this is what is going on so far.  I will post again soon.

updates and more....

So, Travis had his sugery about 2 weeks ago now. He did awsome! and we had a great doctor! Dr. Muntz did a great job and thank you to Primary Childrens for everything! Travis is healing fine. he will be 3 months in 3 days!! and he is still a snuggle bug! I love that he is. My mom got him a bumbo, which I am so happy she did, He loves it!!We still have to have his arm splints on him so he does not bump his face and hurt himself of cause damage to the not healed stiches. But he does not mind the splints. he has one more sugery in about 3 months and after that he will be done!! I am glad it will all be done by the time he is 1.
Life right now is going great!
 Lance quit Mavarick, which is a great thing and now has a job at 5 buck pizza. He is loving working there. He leaves in 84 more days. we are tired of the waiting but it will be worth it!
Carson is well Carson... He got his door taken away from him a few days ago because Lance and I were tired of him kicking it so we took it away. He got it back on sunday night and has not kicked it since. hah yeah he was not sure what to do when we took it away. He is still being potty trained. it is kinda hard to think that in 15 days he will be 2!! I love him so much! He is such a good big brother and love being one. he has started this new thing where he is acting like a dog. I think it has to do with the fact that my mom has made our dog Dolly an inside dog and Carson just loves her.He is also talking more,well, when he wants to. I love that he says "love you." and blows kisses. that makes my day better.

And as for me well, I am good. I turn 22 in a January. Lance was saying to me and I quote,"Your old." yeah what every woman wants to hear from her husband..lol I know he was just joking. I love him and my growing family. I am so happy that I am a mom and a wife.Well, that is it for now. here are pictures of Travis sugery before and after.
